NOTICE – ARMED OFFICER APPLICATION PROCESS

To All Applicants and Prospective Armed Security Officers,

Please be advised that individuals applying for an Armed Security Officer position must receive approval from the State of Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies before they are legally permitted to perform duties as an armed officer.

Important Notice:

  • The state approval process may take up to 30 days to complete.

  • During this period, applicants may not work in an armed capacity until the license has been officially approved and issued by the State of Georgia.

  • Processing times are determined by the state and are outside the control of G11 Security, Inc.

  • Applicants are responsible for ensuring all required documentation, fingerprints, and forms are submitted promptly to avoid delays.

What This Means for Applicants:

  • If you are hired while awaiting approval, you may be offered temporary unarmed assignments if available.

  • If no unarmed positions are available, you will remain pending assignment until the state issues your armed license approval.

G11 Security is committed to full compliance with all Georgia state licensing regulations, and no exceptions will be made to this requirement.
